End of the Week

Hi all,

There are some good news at the end of the week.

At the end of the season the season transition screens are now combined to just a few screens to improve the flow of the game in this area. If you are interested in each information you can check them by clicking on the relevant tabs. If you are not interested you'll get a good overview by the main screens and won't loose too much time.

A feature that was really often wished for by the members of the community is the individual display of the main menu entries. As from now when you click on the "Team" tab the game will only open the relevant sub-menus (News Centre, Calendar, First Team, Reserve Team, Youth Team, Training, Dress. Room Chemistry). You can switch on/off this option in the game settings.

The editor has a new feature as well. Since yesterday the editor will show all contract options that are currently used in the game. For example you can now enter a release fee if the club of the player gets relegated. This helps to further increase the level of authenticity of our database.

That's it for this week, have a nice weekend.

Cheers,

Adrian

Little Improvements

Hi All,

Today we have many exciting news.

I'd like to start with two great improvements in the national team mode.

The maximum number of players listed in the nomination list was doubled and as from now you can even nominate more players of reserve teams (or free agents). This should help coaches of smaller football asscociations.

FIFA MANAGER 10 will be the first FIFA MANAGER with a scouting system for national teams. You'll be able to scout your players, follow matches and find rising talents for your squad.

Some very rare crashes in the 3D mode have been fixed by Michael, in former times the game had random crashes due to red cards; the next step for him is completing the new Manager Shouts feature. The plan is to have more than 15 different shouting options.

The historical data for the Premier League is finished and alle matches and goals of the last season are already entered.

Oliver found some more manager pictures for FIFA MANAGER 10, in FM10 we have at least 30 pictures for currently unemployed managers like Grant, Keane or Keegan.

That's it for today.

Cheers,

Adrian

Editor Feature

Hi All,

As promised I'm able to announce a new feature for the editor. Now the editor is able to display a list with all Unique IDs.

The Unique IDs are fix for each club and won't change during the game.

In the upcoming weeks all stadium pictures, badges and other graphical data will be renamed to the Unique IDs.

After this renaming it will be possible to change graphical data like badges etc. in the running game and a re-start of the game isn't neccessary anymore.

The next feature which will be finished for the editor is the oppertunity to set multiple starting conditions for each player. This makes it possible to enter a player as injured and loaned out at the same time.

The multiple starting conditions are a really big step for the quality of our database. That's it for today, stay tuned for more in the coming days.

Cheers,

Adrian

Beginning of the Week

Hi All,

This week it's my privilege again to inform you about the development of FIFA MANAGER 10.

I'd like to start with a database report.

Since the season is over Oliver and I have been working on preparing the FIFA MANAGER Database for the upcoming season.

FIFA Manager 10 is already working with the season data of 2009/2010 and most of the transfers are already done, the league compositions are updated and the contracts extended.

Our researcher team will start with all rating adjustemts and further transfers within the next week.

In the upcoming week we'll finalize the season stats for 2008/2009 (appearances, goals, historical results and all-time tables).

That's it for today. Tomorrow I will announce a new feature in the Editor.

Cheers,

Adrian

Gerald Köhler Hi All,

We close the week with some news on the transfer market.

At first we now show roughly (with a bar) how the owning club evaluates an offer for a player. This helps to get at least a rough idea what they want.

Secondly we have today removed an old cheat. Quite often the option to buy a player was to cheap and it was possible to sell the player again with a significant profit. This is now no longer an option.

In the design department we are currently completing the country information that is displayed on various screens in the game.

Cheers,

Gerald
