Full Status Update

Hi All,

At first we would like to thank everybody who has already purchased FIFA Manager or LFP Manager.

In this blog entry I would like to summarize what we plan to do in the coming weeks and months. Our focus right now is on Update 1, which will be released in around four weeks. *

* You might ask whether we release the demo or the update first, but this is a different story. The status is that the demo is still in the final testing stage, but every time we are close to complete it… Yes, it is depressing.

But back to Update 1. Firstly it will include a huge player pictures update, secondly a new database update. But in addition there will be much more. I’ve tried to collect all the important bits and pieces for you, so here we go:

- Improved line-up screen: more players, talent stars are displayed, and coloured team units
- match reports for the Live Ticker => after the match, in the stats section, in the line-up section, for the Reserves and for the Youth Teams
- sound for the Live Ticker, ideally even goal and stadium entry anthems
- player positions are displayed optionally behind the player names
- new text elements in Live Ticker
- better “live” elements in Live Ticker (faster)
- several little improvements to create more excitement in Live Ticker
- number of assists displayed in Live Ticker
- reduced number of goals in Live Ticker
- new videos in Live Ticker (e.g. for own goals)
- in the Assistant Manager widget we additionally show the team status (shocked, depressed, euphoric, bored etc.) - new conditions for text elements, therefore even more variation
- new badge elements for CaC
- more varied badges for the computer clubs in CaC mode
- Reserves promotion bug in CaC fixed (please currently play CaC only without strengthening the Reserves) - there is a national manager mode without sacking
- you can immediately own a club right from the start of the game
- instant calculation speed is saved for the next match
- 3D match will make a another big step forward
- “Cancel Highlights” problem fixed (please press ESC after the match, do not press the button!)
- “Numbers” feature on the weekly progress screen extended
- improved manager points calculation, e.g. more points for successful cup matches
- taxes, they make the game financially more difficult

In the coming days we’ll release further information about Update1. But I hope you are happy with the list so far and that we are working in the right direction.
